In the past year we've hosted everything from Wedding celebrations & Birthday parties to Art Exhibitions & Film Screenings. We've even hosted events about pond restoration and hedgerows as we strive to manage our farm in an environmentally friendly way.

The Barley Barn can hold up to 140 people for a sit down meal.
The maximum capacity for the evening is 165.

The barn is a large but intimate space including a rustic pallet bar, twinkling fairy lights throughout and beautiful milk churns for your flower arrangements and the toilets are housed in the old Dairy.
We hire the barn space without tables and chairs to allow you the creative freedom to make the space your own.

You are free to chose the kind of catering that best suits you from a full sit down meal to more casual food trucks. We have space for them to set up behind the scenes and an ambient area for them to plate up.
We recommend The Coggeshall Catering Company, a local family business who have experience of catering for events in the barn.
You can provide a free bar service or alternatively apply for a Temporary Events Licence if you wish to sell drinks at your event.
